I thought reading one book at a time was the only honest way, then a guy in Denver changed my mind
For years I was that person in book club who got weirdly proud about finishing one book before touching another, and I said so out loud more than once. Then last spring a guy in my Denver group, Mark, brought notes on three books at once and still had sharper things to say about each one than I did about mine. I tried it for two rounds and finished 7 books in 10 weeks, which is more than double my usual pace. So how many of you actually read more than one at a time, and does your group care or not?
