Hit 50 books read this year and it totally snuck up on me

I run a small book club with 3 other moms in my neighborhood. We set a group goal of reading 12 books this year, nothing crazy. Then last week I was updating my reading journal and realized I personally hit 50 books. That includes 14 romance novels, 2 non-fiction history books, and the rest mystery thrillers we picked as a group. Has anyone else blown past a milestone way faster than they expected?

14 romance novels in there sounds like my speed, just make sure you're not sacrificing sleep to hit that number.
