Got called out by a friend for always picking the same genre in book club
Last Tuesday, my buddy Dave said 'you only vote for thrillers because you're scared of trying anything sad' and he was right - I took a chance on a historical fiction novel this week and ended up staying up til 2 AM. Anybody else get pushed out of their comfort zone by a club member's random comment?
