Am I the only one who remembers when our club's biggest fight was over 'The Goldfinch'?
Three years ago at Beth's house, a normally quiet member got so heated about the ending she almost knocked over a glass of wine while arguing it was a cop-out, which makes our current polite chats about character arcs feel a bit tame.

Beautiful mess is right. It's like they built this perfect house of cards for three seasons, then blew a fan at it for the finale. Every plot point got a nod, but none of them landed with any weight. The villain's turn felt rushed, the big goodbye was all style, and the final shot just left me wondering what the point was. A real shame after such a strong build-up.
