Warning: my vacuum box gauge was frozen and I did not catch it for a whole shift
Ran the burner all night on a firetube job in Toledo and the gauge needle sat at 12 inHg the whole time, but when I pulled the pigtail the port was plugged solid with scale and we were really running closer to 2, so now I keep a spare gauge in the gang box and pull the pigtail at the start of every shift, has anyone else had a dead leg fool them like that?

Did you ever figure out how bad the burner was running before you caught it?
