Rigid vs Ingersoll impact wrench, 3 months on a refinery turnaround
Had to pick between the Ridgid 18V and the Ingersoll 20V for a turnaround in Port Arthur. Grabbed the Ridgid because the battery deal was crazy, but after week one the chuck started slipping on socket adapters. Swapped to the Ingersoll and it's been solid, even after 12 hour days. The trigger guard is tighter too, less crud gets in. Anybody else run into uneven wear on the Ridgid after heavy use? Looking at swapping the rest of my kit before the next shutdown.
