Hit 500 boiler inspections this month, the number snuck up on me

I was going through my logbook yesterday and realized I've done 500 inspections since January. That's not counting repairs or weld tests, just the full walkthroughs where you check every tube and seam. It hit me because that's the same number of miles I drive round trip to the Job Corps site near Gary, and I kept thinking about how each one starts the same but ends different. Last Thursday had a header crack that took 3 hours to find, then Friday was a clean pass that took 20 minutes. The milestone got me thinking about how easy it is to get numb to the routine, but every boiler tells a different story when you listen. Anyone else ever hit a count like that and realize you've seen more than you thought? What's your number, and did it change how you approach the next job?

Used to think it was all the same grind, but your logbook showed me there's a story in every single one.
