Can we talk about how old rivet guns used to outlast the guy holding them?

Was cleaning out a job trailer in Gary last month and found a 1974 Chicago Pneumatic that still fired like new. My 3 year old one quit on me twice this year, so what are you all running these days that actually lasts?
