That time I figured out shutter priority mode fixed my dog photos...
I used to just set my camera to auto and hope for the best when my border collie was running around the park. Every single picture came out blurry, and I thought it was just my shaky hands or something. Then a photographer at the local camera shop told me to switch to shutter priority mode and set it to 1/500th of a second. Now I can actually see his face instead of a brown blur... has anyone else had a similar "aha" moment with their settings?

Shutter priority changed my sunrise shots just as fast.

Came across this article the other day about how shutter priority basically freezes motion or blurs it depending on what you need... really stuck with me for sunrise shots especially when the light's changing so fast. Set it to like 1/60th or something and it catches those orange and pink streaks before they disappear. Still learning myself but that tip saved me from a bunch of blurry messes.
