That $35 lens pen I scoffed at actually fixed my foggy viewfinder
I bought a cheap knockoff lens pen off eBay for like 5 bucks and it just smeared grease everywhere, so I figured all lens pens were a scam. Then a guy in a camera shop in Austin let me try his Nikon branded one, and it cut through that hazy crud on my old SLR's mirror in about 20 seconds flat. The difference was night and day, honestly felt like I got a new camera for the price of a pizza. Anyone else had a budget tool fail so bad they swore off the whole category?
