That $20 lens cleaning kit I was skeptical about actually fixed my blurry sunset shots

I bought one of those cheap lens cleaning kits from Amazon last week for $20, the one with the blower and microfiber cloth. I thought it wouldn't do much since my phone lens looked clean to me. But after using the blower and cloth on my Pixel 7, my sunset photos from the park are way sharper now. Anyone else find that just cleaning the lens makes a bigger difference than any photo app?

For real though, I had the exact same experience a couple months back. I was getting all frustrated with my photos being kinda fuzzy and figured my phone camera was just getting old. A quick wipe with a proper microfiber cloth honestly made more difference than any settings I messed with after that.

Ha, yeah that's the thing though, I wonder if phone manufacturers actually want us to forget that. Like if everyone knew a quick wipe was the fix, they'd have a harder time selling us on "new and improved camera sensors" every year or whatever.
