It took me 3 years to realize my camera lens was smudged

I kept getting these blurry photos of my dog at the park near my house. Every time I tried to fix it in editing the pictures still looked off. Last week I finally wiped the lens with my shirt and suddenly everything was crystal clear. Has anyone else spent way too long noticing the obvious fix?

Nah, that smudge probably added character to your photos.

Haha okay, I kind of agree with @troy_gibson43 on that one, maybe it did add a little "vintage" flair you didn't ask for. But I still think I'd rather have a clear shot than a mystery blob ruining what could've been a great photo. Just my two cents though, your mileage may definitely vary on that.
