Hot take: Stepping back a few feet fixes more blurry photos than any editing app
Everyone in here always jumps to recommending software or filters. I get it, we all want that quick fix. But seriously, I see people posting pics where the whole issue is they're too close to the subject. I work in a warehouse and we use cheap cameras for inventory. Every time someone complains about blur, I tell them to just back up 3-4 feet and zoom in on the phone. Works 9 out of 10 times. The lens on most phones and point-and-shoots just can't handle being 6 inches away from something. Has anyone else noticed this or am I the only one who thinks we're overcomplicating it?

Right? Its crazy how many people post pics where they're practically touching the thing with the lens. I swear most phone cameras can't focus closer than like 4-5 inches, so you just get a mushy mess. I tell my buddies the same thing, step back and crop later, it saves so much headache. The macro mode on most phones is a joke anyway, just a digital zoom that looks worse. Everyone reaching for Lightroom when the real fix is just taking two steps backwards.

Did I tell you about my buddy who tried to take a pic of his cat's nose and got a blurry blob?
