Finally got a sharp shot of my dog after 3 years of blurry pictures

My lab mix Sadie never holds still, so every photo I took at the park or in the yard came out as a mess. Last month I tried setting my phone to burst mode and just fired off like 40 shots while she chased a tennis ball at Riverside Park. One of them actually caught her mid-air with her ears flopping and her face totally clear. I've been messing with shutter speed and lighting for ages, but burst mode plus good daylight was the simple fix I needed. Anyone else had luck with burst mode for moving pets, or is there a better setting I should try?

Try shooting at 1/1000 shutter speed, that freezes motion better than burst mode alone.
