Discovered that holding my phone against a window actually fixes blurry night shots
So I was trying to take a picture of the full moon last Tuesday from my apartment balcony in Austin. Every single shot came out like a blurry blob of light, I was so frustrated I almost gave up. Then I remembered some random tip from a YouTube video about using a solid surface to steady your hands. I pressed my phone flat against the sliding glass door and took the same shot again, and it came out crystal clear with actual craters visible on the moon. No tripod needed, no special app, just my phone and a window. It felt like a cheat code honestly. Has anyone else tried this trick or found other weird ways to get clear photos without gear?

Might work in your specific case but that's not really a fix for the actual problem, just a workaround that depends on the window being perfectly clean and the angle being just right.

Hold up, actual craters visible? On a phone camera? That's wild. My moon shots always look like a glowing egg. Gotta try this tonight with my kitchen window.
