That Tuesday in Boise where every heat treat went wrong

Three leaf springs in a row came out with cracks from a stubborn oil quench, and I wasted 14 hours fixing my own sloppy setup. Has anyone else had a stretch where the forge gods just decide to punish you, or am I the only one who should have quit before lunch?

Heard a guy say changing quench oil temp by 10 degrees fixes everything, so maybe try that.
