The ending of The Dark Tower still bugs me after all these years
I used to think the ending of Stephen King's Dark Tower series was a total cop out. Like, he spends 7 books getting there and then just loops it back to the beginning? But after I reread it last summer during a rainy week in Portland, I started seeing it as more of a philosophical statement about the journey itself. Now I'm kind of split on it and want to hear what you all think. Does the reset ending ruin the whole series for you or do you see it as a clever twist?

Does the reset mean the whole journey is pointless or actually the only thing that matters?

I mean, look at my life - I've reset more times than a forgotten password, and I'm still not sure if any of it mattered or if I just keep forgetting where I left my keys.
