Overheard a guy at the coffee shop say 'the dog was the narrator the whole time' and I just sat there frozen trying to figure out which book he meant.
It hit me that he was talking about 'The Art of Racing in the Rain' and I remembered how that reveal made me flip back 50 pages to check if I missed clues, has anyone else had a twist ending that made you reread half the book?

That reminds me of the time I was reading a book called "The Good Soldier" and the narrator just casually drops that his wife had been cheating on him for years. Had to go back and reread the first chapter twice to catch all the hints he dropped.
