Am I the only one who thought the last chapter of a thriller was a misprint?
I read a paperback thriller last week where the killer turns out to be a character who died in chapter 4, and I spent an hour thinking my copy had a printing error. Turns out the author did it on purpose and the real answer was in a single line on page 212 that I totally missed. How do you all tell the difference between a clever twist and a book that just lost the plot?
