Unpopular opinion: I think razor fades look better than clipper fades in most cases

I saw a stat that 72% of barbers in a 2023 online poll preferred clippers for fades, but after comparing photos of 50 cuts from a barber Instagram page last night, the razor ones had way softer blends and less harsh lines, so what side are you on?

72% of barbers also probably think skinny jeans are still in style, so I'm rolling with your data on this one.

Agreed completely. I did the exact same thing last month comparing fades on a local shop's page and the razor cuts just looked cleaner. The clipper ones always had this little harsh line near the parietal ridge that bugged me, while the razor blended it all out smooth like butter. Plus it feels way better when you run your hand over it, not that scratchy stubble feel you get from clippers.
