The Saturday that almost made me quit fades after a Tuesday rush
Last month I had a Saturday that was pure garbage. Three no-shows, a walk-in who argued about the price of a skin fade for 20 minutes, and I cut someone's ear with the clippers because they jerked their head mid pass. Blood on my apron, apologizing like crazy, and I went home thinking maybe this trade wasn't for me anymore. Then Tuesday rolled around, no appointments booked, and I figured it'd be a dead day. Instead five regulars showed up in a two hour window, all wanting the same lineup I've done for them since 2021. One guy tipped me $40 cash and said my fade is the only one his wife approves of. That single Tuesday paid for the Saturday's lost tips and then some. Has anyone else had a trash weekend totally flipped by an average weekday out of nowhere?
