The clipper oil hack I stumbled on after 12 years behind the chair

My clippers kept dying mid-fade, especially on thick hair days, and I wasted so much money replacing blades until I tried warming the oil bottle in hot water for 2 minutes before a cut. That thin warm oil flows way better into the blade and my clippers run smooth for twice as long now. Has anyone else tried this or got another trick for preventing blade drag on coarse hair?

Warm oil's thinner, but it cools fast once it hits those cold blades.
