That $200 clipper I bought 8 years ago still runs better than anything new I've tried
I picked up a Wahl Senior from a retiring barber back in 2016 for 200 bucks and it's still my go-to. He said it was from 2003 and all he did was oil it every week. Now I see guys spending 400 on cordless sets that die after a year. Anyone else sticking with old gear and feeling good about it?

My uncle's 1970s clippers still buzz louder than newer models but never break down.

My 1995 Oster A5 from a garage sale still outruns anything I've tried since.

And honestly, just a little regular oil on the blades makes those old Osters last forever. I've had to replace a wire on mine once in like 15 years, but it's still going strong. Nothing wrong with that kind of durability if you ask me.
