Straight razor vs shavette for a full year in Chicago, I'm never going back

Spent 12 months doing every head shave with a fixed blade straight razor and the learning curve is brutal, but the shave quality blows my old shavette out of the water, especially on the back of the neck where the weight just does the work, anyone else made the switch or am I crazy for ditching the disposables?
