My clippers died mid haircut on a Saturday, and the backup set saved me
Last Saturday around 2pm, right in the middle of a fade on a regular, my cordless clippers just stopped and wouldn't turn back on no matter how long I sat them on the charger. I panicked for maybe ten seconds, then grabbed the old corded set I keep in the bottom drawer that I almost gave away at a garage sale two years back. It ran loud and hot but it finished the cut, and the guy actually tipped me extra because he thought the whole thing was funny. Back when I started at the shop on 5th, everybody kept a spare pair in their station and nobody thought twice about it. Now I want to know, how many of you still keep a corded backup, or am I just old school about this?
