Just realized the $75 I spent on a second pair of clippers is the only reason I survived December
Bought a cheap backup pair 6 months ago after my main set died mid fade on a Saturday and I had to send a guy home with half a haircut. That backup has now covered me through two walk-in rushes when my good clippers started pulling. Anyone else keep a spare set just sitting in the drawer, or am I overthinking it?
Man, that just sounds like you got lucky and now you're building a whole system around a fluke. A backup only helps if you actually remember to check it, keep it charged, and swap the blade before it pulls too, so most guys I know just end up with two dead clippers in the drawer. Real fix is buying one good set and knowing where the nearest shop is that can fix it same day.
