Just realized that cheap $40 clipper I bought on clearance actually cuts better than my $200 Wahl

Picked up a no-name clipper at a flea market in Austin last summer as a joke backup, tried it on a client with super thick hair and it didn't snag once. Anyone else find a random tool that outperformed their expensive gear?

You ever buy something cheap just for laughs then realize it actually works better than the stuff you paid real money for?

That "just for laughs" part got me thinking... I bought this super cheap headlamp from a gas station as a joke gift once. Then I ended up using it for camping and it actually outlasted my expensive name brand one by like two years. Crazy how that works sometimes.
