Just realized my cuts improve with the radio silent
Killed the tunes during a busy Saturday. Now I swear by the quiet, even if my booth partner calls it weird.

Totally! I need my headphones on with some steady beats to zone in. My brain just wanders off in dead silence, it's too empty.

Silence isn't always the best for everyone's focus, lmao. Some people need a little background hum to concentrate better on detailed tasks. It blocks out unpredictable sounds like chatter or doors slamming. Your brain can tune out steady noise but jumps at irregular interruptions. So your booth partner might find the radio helps them get in a groove too. It's cool that quiet works for you, but different brains work different ways.

So what kind of cuts were you doing that got better? Like, was it the speed or just cleaner lines?
