Had a walk-in ask for a fade 15 minutes before close on Saturday and it turned into the best tip of my month
So it's 5:45 on Saturday, I'm already breaking down my station, and this guy walks in asking if I can squeeze him in for a skin fade before I lock up. Normally I'd say come back tomorrow, but he was polite about it so I said sure, one quick cut. Turns out he's a wedding photographer and we got to talking about his shoot that day, and when I finished he handed me a $40 tip on a $30 cut. Then he tells me his whole wedding party needs cuts in two weeks and he'll book all six of them with me. I just stood there holding my clippers like, this is why I stopped turning away that last walk-in. Anybody else had a late customer turn into a whole booking? Cause I almost told this guy no.
