Fade scissors vs clippers for skin fades, night and day difference

Honestly tried blending a skin fade with my clippers for 6 months in Charlotte and kept leaving a line, switched to scissors for the top edge and my clients actually stopped asking for fixes, anyone else find shears cleaner for that transition?

Wait, you've been blending skin fades with scissors for the top edge? That blows my mind, I thought everyone just fought the line with clippers until it clicked. Six months of leaving a line sounds like hell though, maybe I've been overcomplicating this whole transition thing with guards when shears just cut through the problem. Gonna have to mess with that technique on my next client, cause getting asked for fixes is the worst feeling.
