Client told me my fades were too high." That's a hard thing to hear, especially when you spent three weeks thinking it over. But honestly, the fact that you actually sat with that feedback instead of brushing it off says a lot about you as a barber. A lot of guys would have just blamed the client's hair type or the lighting. What I've noticed is that sometimes we get stuck in our own routine and stop looking at the shape from the client's eye level. Good on you for being willing to learn from it.

Not saying you're wrong but is a fade being a little high really that deep? Dude probably just wanted a reason to complain about something anyway.
