A regular in my chair said something that made me rethink how I do fades
Guy comes in every 2 weeks, always the same cut, never complains. Last Tuesday he says "you know, you rush the blend when you think I'm in a hurry." I wasn't even rushing, but he was right. I finish the outline, hit the guards, and I'm done in 25 minutes. He said take your time, I'll pay extra if I have to. So I slowed down, spent 40 minutes on the fade, went back and forth with the 0.5 and zero gap way more than I normally would. He didn't say anything after, just tipped me $20 on top of the cut. Now I'm trying to do that for everyone, not just him. Has anyone else had a client call out a habit you didn't even know you had?
