Last Saturday was my best baking day in months

I had this one day where EVERYTHING went right somehow. Made a batch of chocolate chip cookies, a loaf of sourdough, and some dinner rolls all in the same afternoon. The cookies spread just right, the sourdough got that perfect ear on the crust, and my daughter said the rolls were better than store bought. Anyone else ever have a day where the baking gods just smiled on you for no reason?

Yeah do you find it just happens when you're not trying too hard? I had a day like that with my smoker once where the brisket came out perfect and the ribs had that nice pull off the bone. It's like the universe decides to throw you a bone every now and then. Glad the baking gods showed up for you that day man, those days are real special when they happen.

Notice it happens with all kinds of stuff, not just baking. Like when you're not forcing it and just letting things roll, they somehow turn out better.
