Bought a $70 mini fridge for my room to stop my roommate stealing my food, now it hums so loud I can't sleep

I got it off Facebook Marketplace three days ago and it's basically a white noise machine that also keeps my yogurt cold. My roommate still used my oat milk out of the main fridge anyway, so now I've got two problems and $70 less. Has anyone found a quiet one that doesn't sound like a lawnmower?
