Used to build sheds with just a hammer and circular saw... now I won't start without a framing nailer

Last year I built a 10x12 in my backyard in Columbus with just hand tools and it took me like 3 weekends just to get the walls up. Switched to a nailer this month for a 8x10 and got the whole frame done in one afternoon. Has anyone else found that one tool that just totally changed how fast they work?

Three weekends for one shed sounds like your technique was the problem, not the tools.

Hang on, three weekends? That's like a whole month of Saturdays. Did you build it with a butter knife and a spork or something?

Leveling the ground before you start and having all the pieces laid out in order saves at least a whole weekend right there.
