Used that cheap metal roof sealant on my shed. Big mistake.
Paid $30 for a tube of that silicone based stuff at the big box store. First heavy rain and water was pouring right through the cracks I thought I sealed. What brand actually holds up on a corrugated roof?

@charles_kim nailed it, polyurethane caulk is the only thing that worked on my shed roof.

Read somewhere that the rubberized stuff from the hardware store is actually garbage for metal roofs. Saw a guy on YouTube use a specific polyurethane caulk for corrugated panels and it held up way better. @harper_wells maybe try that bucket trick on the shed too, just drill a hole and funnel it somewhere.
