Plywood moisture trick saved my shed build

I was putting up a 12x16 shed in my backyard last month and kept fighting warped plywood. An old timer at the lumber yard told me to stack the sheets flat with 2x4s between them for 48 hours inside my garage. It actually flattened them out enough to get a straight nail line on every wall.

Man that's a solid trick... I'd add to it by stacking them with the crowns facing opposite directions so they cancel each other out. Usually helps even more if you throw a couple concrete blocks on top of the stack for extra weight.

Yeah @hayden720 that concrete block tip is a good one. How heavy were the blocks you used? I tried something similar with cinder blocks back when I did a lean-to roof and the top sheets still had a little bow in them. Did you keep them on for the full 48 hours too or pull them off sooner?
