Neighbor's comment about my shed roof made me check the pitch
I was bragging about my new 8x10 shed and my neighbor, a retired contractor, just said 'looks nice but that 2/12 pitch is gonna leak in 5 years.' Ran the numbers after he left and he's right, my area gets heavy snow and I should have gone steeper. Has anyone else had to redo a roof pitch because someone pointed it out before it failed?
