Took me 6 weeks to figure out why my hens stopped laying in the same nesting boxes

Did you ever try changing the bedding? I used to think it didn't matter but now I switch to straw and they use the boxes again.

6 weeks seems like a lot of effort over some chicken eggs. I mean, if they're still laying somewhere else and you're getting eggs, does it really matter where they drop them? Seems like a pretty minor problem to spend that much time on.
