My hen Phyllis laid eggs in my truck for 11 straight days and I just found out why
So back in April I left the truck bed open overnight by mistake, and the next morning there was one brown egg sitting in the corner near my toolbox. I figured it was a fluke, but then it happened again the next day. And the day after that. By day 11 I had a whole dozen piled up back there and my wife was begging me to figure out what was going on. Turns out my neighbor's rooster had been hopping the fence, and Phyllis decided the truck was safer than the coop because my dog had been hanging around the run all month. I moved the truck to the front driveway and the eggs stopped cold. What I want to know is why she picked the passenger side every single time. Anybody else have a hen that gets a weird spot stuck in her head?
