Kiddie pool dust bath is a hit with the flock

I turned an old kiddie pool into a dust bath for my chickens. They love it and their feathers look healthier. Any advice on keeping it clean?

Watching chickens go nuts in a dust bath is hilarious but yeah, the cleanup is no joke. Mine kick half the dirt out onto the ground around it, and then it turns into mud when it rains. Plus all the feathers and leftover feed end up in there. I end up having to rake it out and refresh it way more than I thought I would.

Honestly a kiddie pool for chickens sounds like absolute chaos. Tbh just picturing them all trying to fit in there at once is kind of wild. Ngl keeping it clean has to be a nightmare, all that dirt and feather fluff. You must be hosing that thing out constantly, it seems like a way bigger mess than a regular spot in the ground.
