Heard someone at the feed store say they just let their chickens free range all day with no run
Was picking up oyster shells yesterday and overheard a woman bragging that her dozen hens roam the whole property unsupervised from dawn to dusk. She said she's never lost a single one to hawks or coyotes in three years. Anyone else think that's just asking for trouble or am I being too paranoid?
