Dropped $60 on a heated chicken waterer in Fargo, and my hens were scared of it
Bought a heated waterer last January for $60 because North Dakota winters are rough and I was tired of busting ice every morning. Got it set up, plugged it in, and my six hens just stood there staring at it like it was a hawk. Took three days before one Rhode Island Red finally took a sip, and even then she looked at me like I owed her an apology. Anyone else have birds that freak out over new gear, or is it just mine?
