Watched a kid strip a whole harness wrong today in the shop

Boss handed him a brand new harness for a 2022 F-150 and he went at it with a razor knife like it was speaker wire. Maybe 15 minutes of work and $300 down the drain because nobody showed him how to use a proper stripper.

Oh man, I once did that to a $400 alternator harness, felt like a total idiot!

You really think a $400 alternator harness is that big of a deal, @blaked79? I've seen guys melt down a whole engine harness that cost over a grand and they just shrugged it off. Don't get me wrong, it stings, but you learn from it and move on. I've accidentally cut into a set of custom plug wires before, and that was barely a hundred bucks for the whole set. Mistakes happen, that's just part of wrenching.
