A baking soda and water paste worked for me. It removed all the corrosion and cost next to nothing.

Wait, baking soda and water really cleaned that up? People will buy all kinds of expensive junk when the answer is in their kitchen the whole time. I love how the simplest stuff always gets overlooked. Next thing you know, someone will sell it in a fancy bottle for twenty bucks. Glad it worked for you, though.

Seriously, it's wild how often the basic stuff works best. My grandma used vinegar for everything from windows to laundry stains. Makes you wonder why we ever stopped.
