That reminds me of a caliper bolt that looked fine but had stripped threads. Spent two days trying to force it before admitting defeat. The whole brake job sat dead until the new hardware showed up. Like finleyc42 said, it's always one stupid bolt or bushing you don't count on. Makes you triple-check every little nut and washer now, because the smallest part can wreck your whole schedule.

Ugh, the waiting is the worst part. What gets you more, the actual cost of the overnight shipping for that one bolt, or the hidden cost of having your daily driver on stands for three extra days? I had to rent a car last time, which basically doubled what the repair should have cost.
