Tried using a heat gun on that dent on a fender and it backfired big time
Last Tuesday I had a 2015 Honda Civic with a small dent on the rear quarter panel. Figured I'd try the heat gun trick to soften the paint and pop it out from behind. Turns out I held it too long in one spot and blistered the clear coat about the size of a silver dollar. Ended up having to sand and respray that whole section anyway. Anybody else have a heat gun lesson go sideways on them?

lol I feel your pain. I tried the heat gun trick on a plastic bumper once and forgot how thin that stuff is. Ended up with a melted mess that looked like a melted cheese sandwich.
