Stop blending filler straight out of the can without stirring first

Caught a guy at my shop last Thursday mixing bondo straight from the top and wondering why his repairs kept pitting. If you don't stir it down to the bottom, the hardener ratio is off and you're just asking for a callback in 3 weeks. How many of you have seen this bite someone?

Stirring it good fixed my pitting problem, no more callbacks after that simple change.

Man that seems like a pretty extreme fix for a pitting problem. Are you sure it wasn't just a coincidence or something else you changed without realizing it? I've seen batches where stirring more actually made things worse because it introduced more air. @the_barbara I'd be careful calling it solved after just one job with no callbacks. Maybe give it a few more runs before you start telling everyone it's the magic bullet.
