Serious question, I dropped $450 on a new infrared paint curing system and it cut my drying time from eight hours to forty minutes.
Has anyone else switched to infrared for curing clearcoat on big jobs, or do you think it's just a pricey gimmick?

My buddy Carl at the collision shop got one last year. He said it completely changed his workflow on big panel jobs, letting him turn cars around in a single day. The shop owner was skeptical about the cost but now swears by it.
