PSA: check the ground strap before you chase a phantom electrical gremlin
Had a 2016 F-150 in last Tuesday that kept blowing the same 10A fuse and I spent 3 hours testing circuits before I found the ground strap behind the block was corroded to dust. Anyone else got a go-to spot on these trucks where the ground always rots out first?
Check the frame rail ground on the driver side too, right behind the front wheel well, since that one likes to hide under years of road salt and look fine until you wiggle it. Ford ran that strap to a spot that catches every bit of winter crud, so by the time you see the fuse popping the wire is usually green inside the jacket. Grab a meter and check resistance to the block before you trust any of it, because chasing voltage through a rotted ground will waste your whole afternoon.
